Christmas would be too easy!!

At this time of year I am the biggest Christmas nut, the season, the reason, the family, the food, the smell. The whole package is my time of year. Not to mention at my age and weight, the cooler weather is better also!

To write about Christmas for the December devotional seemed too prdictable, so we won't.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Many things in life seem to take forever to see results. School is taking forever, the girl or guy we want to notice us is taking forever. The being nice to the bully is taking forever to get results. In the above passage it lets us know, the timing is not up to us. We have to keep on doing, saying, acting right looking for that result. At the proper time God will give us the harvest (result) when it is best delivered.

Being involved in a youth music ministry, we are fighting an uphill battle locally getting the proper attention and publicity we think we need. The adults have so many irons in the fire they sometimes do not see our goal as an immediate need. Although many have given more time and more monies than we could have ever thought, and for that we are blessed. However, it has been many many times that we as a group have thought and yes even said, Maybe its time to move on!

It is not time, you know why? God tells us to keep on, do not get weary, and the harvest will come in the proper time. For that you are promised we will be here for more months of devotional. Please do your part and turn a friend on to our web site. They maybe our harvest!!! Merry Christmas, from the biggest  Fan of the Man there is!
